First Splash Day/ Pool Time! :)

What a fun day we had today!  One of the coolest things about our Stroller Strides classes is that they also have numerous playdates throughout the week to attend.  We hadn’t attended one yet as I always felt the activities were too “old” for Adelaide but one of my new mommy friends in class this morning convinced me to come check out the Splash Park today.  So….we started there.  The most exciting thing about the splash park was seeing Adelaide in her swimsuit.  Other than that it really is something that would be more fun after she is older.
BUT!  There’s more…!  So we stayed at the Splash park for about 45 minutes and were basically sitting in a shady spot talking to some other mommies.  Adelaide was actually having a blast but only because she always has a blast. ha ha :)  While we were sitting there and after some of the mommies had left there were about 4 of us left and someone mentioned going swimming instead at her neighborhood pool.  So we caravanned over.  I was hesitant and thinking, what am I doing, as my 2 hour playdate was turning into an afternoon long activity but I am sooooo glad I went!  We had so much fun!!!! Way cooler than the splash park…especially for this age!  : )   We had so much fun!  Adelaide splashed and loved the water!  Completely serendipitous and wonderful day! =)
