Garage stuffed full!

July was such a busy month!  Aside from finishing all the shopping for everything we need for baby, we packed, cleaned, and Andrew spent pretty much every weekend preparing our upstairs for new floors.  This is what I've been waiting for so I could get to work on creating a space for baby girl!  The whole thing was a big project....first he painted, then he had to paint the trim and doors, then he ripped up all the carpeting, then he had to do some repairs and further cleaning because of a big orange cat that shall remain nameless.  FINALLY the floor guys came in a couple of weeks ago and installed our beautiful new floors!  We both feel like we have a new house as before our upstairs was kind of the part of the house that we just didn't use - and didn't want to use!  My cats had taken it over years ago and it had never had anything done to it.  Not to mention without us coming up here it was just neglected and became a bit of a catch all.  Now it is stunning!  After all the remodel there was still a ton of work to do. Our garage throughout this whole process was our only storage area so it became jam packed with furniture, everything we had bought for baby, and all the boxes from our packing.  After the floors were done, now this all had to be unpacked!  We have spent the last couple of weeks unpacking, putting together baby furniture and shopping for a new car! ha!  Yes, it has been crazy around here.  The baby room is pretty well done now though and the new car has been bought!  So maybe now we can relax for a couple of weeks before we have the baby? : )  More pics to come in the next post!
